FAQ

Why does appreciation matter?
Appreciation is one of the most important types of feedback you can give and receive. Appreciation says "I see you,
I hear you, I value you" (Stone & Heen). But sadly, people are less likely to feel or express gratitude at work than
anyplace else (Templeton Foundation, 2013). We spend more waking hours at work than anywhere else -- so let's
make work a place where everyone knows they are appreciated!
Why should I send eThanks, instead of email or talking in person?
eThanks can be viewed by the entire faculty and staff, so we know about the great work our colleagues are doing.
And it's fast, too.
How often can I send eThanks?
Every day, and as often as you want!
Can I send eThanks to a group?
You can send eThanks to one person at a time.
I have a problem to solve or a suggestion to make. Who do I contact?
